2024 South American

Dear Bourquin Sailing Team followers,

Namkhai, Sanka and Inti are about to leave to Peru for the 2nd Southamerican Youth Championships.

This Championship is Under 21 and every 4 years. The Qualifyer has been done during the last National Games in Puerto Vallarta where Sanka and Inti won 1st place. (ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 U18)

Namkhai has been selected as ILCA coach for the Mexican Sailing Team. ILCA racers are 5 in total and there are other 3 racers in the team. (Sunfish, Windsurf and IQ-Foil).

We are very proud of them to participate to this very important competition that will bring together the best young racers from the major southamerican countries:

México, Guatemala, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Brasil are represented so far.

Paracas is 4 hours 30 min south from Lima and the event will be hosted by the Federación Deportiva Nacional Peruana de Vela and Confederación Sudamericana de Vela at the Club de Regatas “Lima” – Filial Paracas.

Dates are from 11th to 16th of November and Sanka and Inti will train there with Namkhai from the 8th.
